Growing Dill

When growing dill in the herb garden, plant where it will get full sun. It is an annual plant and grows from seed, and is usually from 24 to 36 inches high.

Dill plants can also be grown in an indoor herb garden. A deep pot is necessary and, depending on the light source in your home, you may decide to grow the dill under florescent lights. The plants will last longer if the tops are pinched back to prevent flowers and seeds from forming.
